Our City Tomorrow is a forum for Wellingtonians to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the city – including population growth, climate change, and earthquakes.
The Long-term Plan is Wellington City Council’s 10-year blueprint. It sets out how we will invest in the city, deliver services and how we will pay for it.
Every three years we review our Long-term Plan to make sure we are moving in the right direction and addressing community concerns and aspirations. We’re going through that process now.
Our City Tomorrow will be asking our community questions that will help shape the Long-term Plan, a renewed plan for our central city, and inform Let’s Get Wellington Moving. What will population growth, climate change and sea level rise, and earthquake challenges mean for the way we experience and use our central city? And what does this mean for the rest of our city?
